Krazi Kebob might actually be one of the places that I miss most about College Park, because heaven knows I couldn’t stand the commute going to that school from my house. If it weren’t for the metered parking and crazy college pedestrians right where this fast food joint is located, I’d probably go there now and then even though I’ve graduated and have no reason to be in PG County for anything anymore.
Anyone who is a fan of Chipotle would probably like this place—the way you order is pretty much the same. The flavor of the food and amount you get for pretty close to the same price as a Chipotle meal is very different though, and that difference may be enough for someone who isn’t a fan of Chipotle to like the food here.
Now I love Chipotle and it’s probably a really bad thing that there’s a location that’s literally five minutes walking distance from my house, but if I wanted more than just a veggie burrito bowl (which is all I ever get at Chipotle) because I wanted to eat a burrito filled with meat that wasn’t too tough to chew, then Krazi Kebob was my place. In fact, after it first opened I think second half of my junior year at UMD, I think I went there more often than I did Chipotle, just because one meal from there pretty much filled me up for the rest of the day. Chipotle, on the other hand, has a sushi effect on me. I get pretty full at first, and then I find that I’m hungry again two hours later.
As far as I know, the only Krazi Kebob location in existence is the one in College Park. If you’re ever in the area, here’s the address for it:
4427 Lehigh Road
College Park, MD 20740
They also do delivery (to locations close by the university only) and accept carry-out orders. You can order either online through campusfood.com or by calling them at (301) 864-5150. They accept both cash and credit.
From my experience, the owner, Naumaan Hamid, and his staff were pretty friendly and nice. They’re also pretty good to their regular patrons as well.

I’m not sure if this is their most updated menu. I haven’t been there since last December because I graduated, but here’s an image of one that I found on Google:
Their Twitter and Facebook is worth following; sometimes they post up special discounts for their food.
Just like I did with Best Buns & Co., here’s my ratings breakdown for this restaurant:
Online Ordering?: Yes, through campusfood.com.
Delivery?: Yes, but only to areas by the university.
Wi-fi?: I can’t remember, but I don’t think so.
Kids Menu?: They might, but I don’t think they do.
Buffet?: No.
Kosher-friendly?: Not that I’m aware of, but if you’d like to ask, you can call the number I provided earlier.
Vegetarian/Vegan-friendly?: I believe so, but the selection is limited.
Recommended?: Yes – Especially for people who want something really filling.
The only real downside I’ve had with this restaurant is that it takes some time to get the food, so if you’re crunched for time (I definitely was some days when I wanted to pick it up between classes), I would recommend ordering ahead for your meal so you can just grab it and go.
Gosh, writing this review has made me super hungry, not to mention that in all seriousness I am now craving a nice big naan wrap from Krazi Kebob. Guess I know where I’m going after work today! Hahaha.
I’m just crazy about Krazi Kabob. It’s affordable especially on Krazi Tuesdays, with the BOGO deal on the Naan Burritos. My absolute fav is their Stuffed Paneer Naan. I can never get enuff of it.
Just the other day, when I was stuffing myself on the Naan Burrito, the owner came to me n told me that he’s expanding his menu soon with some kebab wraps n platters. all I can say to that is Yum!!!
Haha yes. Buy one get one free Tuesdays is pretty awesome. 🙂 And thanks for the heads up on the menu!
