I was recently introduced to this place by one of my employer’s wives. I believe she is good friends with the owner, and she also was the “scout mother” for one of her sons, Theo. I will say right away that Theo is an amazing server, and his mother (who owns the place) is pretty darn cool. The inside of the restaurant is a little small, but the food is incredible. The atmosphere is pretty great too—the staff is not only friendly, they’re great conversationalists! Apparently this location gets extremely busy during a certain time of the night, so the group I was with made sure to get there around 5:30pm for a somewhat early dinner.
I wish I had taken some pictures, but I didn’t have the time. (The ones included in this post are all from Google.) I was honestly so absorbed in my food, and by the time I finished it was time for me to head out since I had a family errand to run that couldn’t wait. The location is a little far from my house, so I’m not sure when the next time I’ll be able to go will be, but I definitely plan on going back sometime. There’s at least four to five other menu items that I’m dying to try!
I have nothing but good things to say about this place, even though I’ve only been there once. Our group ordered the Tzatziki as an appetizer, and it was amazing. One of the best Tzatziki’s I’ve ever had! It was incredibly refreshing!
Another thing I really like about this restaurant—the atmosphere is very “homey.” Even the food tastes like true home-style cooking. Really flavorful and just the right amount portion-wise. And the best part is the meal tastes exactly how you’d imagine it would from the menu’s description.
Everything is also really reasonably priced too. The only real expensive things on the menu are the seafood-heavy meals, but honestly it’s like that just about anywhere you go. Seafood is just expensive in general most places. Most meals are under $20, which I think is pretty good for the quality of the food you’re getting, if you ask me.
There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor view isn’t bad at all—the restaurant is in a nice area.
